Green Smoothie Bowls

Delicious green smoothie bowl! I don't measure the amount of fruit I use. It all depends on how much of the green base you want and how thick of a base you want. To make the base I use half of a fresh banana, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, and spinach. Don't worry if you're not a fan of spinach. The taste of the fruit is so sweet and delicious you won't even taste it! If you find the base to be hard to blend you may also add some liquid. I usually use water because that is what I have, but almond milk, coconut milk, etc. will also work.

As for my toppings I use any fruit I have, granola, almond slices, bee pollen, and peanut butter. Again, the toppings is also all up to you. You can add whatever you want! For example, coconut flakes, almond butter, honey, chia seeds, etc.

I find these bowls super easy to make and super delicious. If you find that your spinach is going bad, I highly recommend freezing it and using it later for your green bowls! If you're allergic to any of the fruits in the base, you may also try using frozen peaches. If you use frozen strawberries, it will make your base look like a dark muddy green instead of a nice vibrant green. It is still edible though! It just wont look as pretty.
